01About the role
We are looking for an AWS Developer to design, build and run cloud-native applications on Amazon Web Services. You will develop serverless and containerised workloads, automate infrastructure as code and help teams move faster with reliable deployment pipelines.
You will work with architects and development teams to make sure applications are secure, cost-efficient and observable in production.
02Key responsibilities
- Develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SQS and SNS
- Build and deploy containerised services on ECS, EKS or Fargate
- Provision and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation / CDK
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar
- Set up monitoring, logging and alerting with CloudWatch and related tools
- Implement security best practices including IAM roles and policies, VPC design, KMS encryption and secrets management
- Optimise cloud resources for performance and cost
- Troubleshoot issues across application and infrastructure layers
03Requirements
- 3–7 years of IT experience, with at least 2 years of hands-on AWS development
- Strong working knowledge of EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM, VPC and CloudWatch
- Programming skills in Python, Node.js or Java
- Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Understanding of networking concepts, DNS, load balancing and cloud security
- Experience with Git and CI/CD practices
- Good troubleshooting and communication skills
04Good to have
- AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect certification
- Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)
- Experience building data pipelines with Glue, Kinesis or Step Functions
- Exposure to Azure or GCP
