01About the role
We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to lead the development of machine learning and statistical models that solve real business problems. You will work with large datasets, take models from exploration to production and communicate insights clearly to business and technical stakeholders.
As a senior member of the team, you will also guide junior data scientists, set standards for modelling and experimentation, and help shape the data science roadmap.
02Key responsibilities
- Translate business problems into data science problems with clear success metrics
- Explore, clean and analyse large structured and unstructured datasets
- Build, validate and tune predictive, classification, forecasting and NLP models
- Deploy models to production with data engineers and MLOps teams, and monitor their performance
- Design and analyse A/B tests and other experiments
- Present findings to stakeholders through clear visualisations, dashboards and reports
- Mentor junior data scientists and review their analyses and code
- Stay current with new techniques in machine learning, deep learning and generative AI
03Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience in data science, machine learning or advanced analytics
- Strong Python skills with pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn and at least one deep learning framework (TensorFlow or PyTorch)
- Solid foundation in statistics, probability, hypothesis testing and ML algorithms
- Proven experience taking models from prototype to production
- Advanced SQL and experience working with large datasets
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, Power BI or Tableau
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex ideas simply

- NLP and LLM application experience
- MLOps tooling such as MLflow, SageMaker or Vertex AI
- Big data tools such as Spark or Databricks
- Domain experience in BFSI, retail or healthcare
